Annette and I enjoyed an al fresco dinner at Emma Metzler on August 21, 2020 with our Frankfurt gourmet group.  Before the second corona wave, it was one of the few dinners we had indoors in a restaurant in 2020. Later in the year, during the second corona wave, we had another Emma Metzler dinner, to go at our home in Frankfurt and connected via Zoom with our friends.

Emma Metzler is one of Frankfurt's top restaurants, with a great outside area for al fresco dining. Anton de Bruyn is heading the kitchen team. Anton has 14 points in the Gault Millau.


In the Der Feinschmecker 7/2020, Emma Metzler was listed as one of Germany`s 30 top restaurants that shape the future with their concepts. 

Emma Metzler: Neo-bistro, which lives the food culture in the museum sustainably with many regional organic products.
