Greetings Fellow Wine Lovers,
We had another great meeting last month with Klaus Wittauer’s excellent presentation on “The Wines of Austria”. Klaus gave us a fun and engaging presentation as he led us through the wide variety of cool climate red and white wines made in Austria. Thank you again, Klaus.
For our May 1st meeting, we are staying in the same area as Austria but moving a little farther north. For this meeting, Annette Schiller will take us through the second part of the educational session on German wines that she started last year. As most of you know, Annette was born and raised in Germany and is extremely knowledgeable on wines from around the world, but especially those from Germany and France. In addition to being a popular wine educator, Annette also shares her knowledge by leading European wine tours via her tour company, Ombiasy Tours.
For our meeting on Friday, May 1st, Annette will present part 2 of “Magnificent Germany: A Deep Dive into German Wine. Annette always provides excellent, fact filled presentations and curates excellent wines to share with us, so don’t miss this one!
Sign up details for this May 1st presentation can be found at the end of this email.
