The Wine-Searcher is a web search enigine enabling users to locate the price and availability of a given wine and be directed to a store selling the wine. It is "the most successful, and seriously useful, price comparison website" says Jancis Robinson.
Recently, the Wine-Searcher published a list of the world`s most wanted German wines.
As expected, it is Riesling only.

6 of the 10 wines are dry, 4 are fruity-sweet, i.e where the sweetness in the wine is generated by interrupting the fermentation, none of 10 wines is noble-sweet, i.e. Beerenauslese, Trockenbeerenauslese or Eiswein.
The list is domintaed by 2 winemakers, Egon Müller and Klauspeter Keller.
Egon Müller`s wines are all fruity-sweet (Kabinett, Spätlese, Auslese)
Klauspeter Keller´s wines are all dry.
In addition, you find Dönnhoff, JJ Prüm and Georg Breuer on the list.
The Mosel accounts for 4 of the 10 wines, Rheinhessen for 4, and the Nahe and the Rheingau for 1 wine each.
