For several decades, the annual Gault&Millau WeinGuide Deutschland used to be a leading wine guide in Germany. Following the release of the 2019 guide

Germany's 20 Top (5/5) Winemakers - The Gault Millau WeinGuide Deutschland 2019

Gault&Millau moved to a different format and began to issue regional wine guides. Currently, there are 5 regional wine guides available:

In additon, Gault&Millau issued a coffee table book entitled "Die Besten Weine Deutschlands"/ "The Best Wines of Germany". The book contains 150 winemaker recommendations, including a top 10 list.
