It took us a while to find this place. The beautiful drive ttook us through the densly wooded Black Forest and our GPS stopped working. So, we had to go back to the old method and had to ask people for direction.
Waldgasthof Scherrhof
The historic Scherrhof is a unique place with a very cosy ambiance. It sits in the middle of the woods and you feel like being in a Hänsel and Gretel forest.
The freshness of the food is outstandig. You will not find any convenience food - everything is made from scratch with local ingrediences – local Badenser cuisine at its best.

Tripadvisor: Charming with Great FoodWe stopped here after a walk through the Black Forest. It's a family run restaurant which has a great menu, friendly service, and great ambiance. It's so out of the way that the customers seem to be mostly hikers and bikers. Without question the food equaled or bettered that of many restaurants in Baden-Baden town. Well worth a visit.
