The 114 Leading Winemakers of Austria (Kalk&Kegel, 2023)

Kalk&Kegel, an Austrian Gourmet Journal, just released a list of the most influential Austrian winemakers of the 2023. There names should not be missing from any wine list. The list was compiled by about 30 of Austria's best sommeliers.  

Criteria for the inclusion in the KALK&KEGEL list, which has been published once a year since 2021, are the unmistakable craftsmanship of the winegrowers and the exemplary attitude towards nature, which in almost all cases requires at least organic certification or very often biodynamic certification.
