Alto Adige 2026 by ombiasy WineTours, led by Annette Schiller, took place from Sunday, September 06 - Sunday, September 13, 2026.
Being
the northernmost wine region of Italy, Alto Adige is a very
special place where Italian and German traditions merge. It is a
fascinating and unique region in the Alpes. It boasts of an
extraordinary variety of landscapes: snow-capped mountains in the
Dolomites, fertile valleys, streams, century-old breathtakingly
beautiful towns true to their hybrid Germanic-Italian culture.
During this tour we did not change
hotels. We stayed 7 nights at the famous, beautiful 5-star Art-Nouveau
style Parkhotel Laurin in Bozen.

On 2 nights, Annette and I went to TOMA by Lisa Wine Bar, which is located in the historic center of Bozen, to end the day.
TOMA by Lisa
TOMA by Lisa is, in my view, the best wine bar of Bozen in Alto Adige. It is an intimate spot known for its fantastic wine list, including many Alto Adige wines, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. While it was originally founded and run by the well-known local wine expert Lisa Burgstaller, the bar is currently managed by two knowledgeable young wine aficionados who previously worked alongside her, fully maintaining its high standards and signature charm. True to the traditional wine boutique format, there is often no set wine menu by the glass. Instead, the owners open a rotating selection of bottles every evening. To complement the wines, you can order regional platters featuring traditional South Tyrolean speck and local alpine cheeses. Seating is mostly outdoor.
