Café Nymphenburg Sekt is a café, bistro, and bar located directly within the Viktualienmarkt. It is one of Munich's premier spots to "see and be seen".

Viktualienmarkt
The Viktualienmarkt is Munich's most famous daily open-air food market, a historic, vibrant square in the heart of Munich's old town (Altstadt). It evolved from a humble 19th-century farmers' market into a beloved gourmet hotspot featuring over 140 stalls and shops. You find fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, artisan cheeses, local meats, seafood, exotic delicacies, spices, and traditional Bavarian snacks. The name derives from the late Latin word "victualia", an old-fashioned term meaning food.
The Maypole (Maibaum): Look out for the massive, colorful Bavarian maypole in the center, decorated with figures representing local trades and crafts.
Folk Singer Fountains: Dotted around the market are memorial fountains dedicated to famous historic Munich folk artists and comedians (like Liesl Karlstadt and Karl Valentin).
