Led by Grant Crandall, President of the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association, there is a group of wine lovers in the Northern Virginia area that meets 4 times a year at one of the members' home for a wine-pairing dinner where everyone brings a bottle of wine with a corresponing dish, always under a common theme. This time, the event took place at our home in McLean, Northern Virginian (Greater Washington DC area),and the theme was: Pinots - red, white, grey, still and sparkling from around the world.

Germany accounting for 4.000, Italy for 3.000 and Austria for 2.000

world, with Italy accounting for 18.000, Germany for 7.000 and Australia

Noir in the world, with France accounting for 30.000. the USA (mainly
