The Vinum Weinguide Deutschland 2024 was released recently, presenting Vinum's choice of Germany’s best 1,000 wine producers and reviewing more than 10,500 wines on 1,080 pages.
5 out of 5 stars („world class“) was awarded to 20 estates. There are two new ones on the
list: Schloss Johannisberg and Rings. Congratualtions!
In addition, there are 32 estates with 4.5 stars, and 76 estates with 4 stars.

Vinum: Meike und Dörte Näkel wurden in den vergangenen beiden Jahren nicht eben verwöhnt. Auch sie hatten extrem zu leiden unter den Auswirkungen der Flutkatastrophe von 2021 und dabei vieles
verloren. Umso außergewöhnlicher ist es, dass sie ausgerechnet mit 2021 den vielleicht besten
Jahrgang ihres bisherigen Schaffens hinlegten. Ihre Spätburgunder, aber auch die Weißweine sind es
würdig, die Welt wissen zu lassen, dass sie vom «Weingut des Jahres» stammen.
Aufsteiger des Jahres - Rising Star of the Year: Andy und Steffen Rings, Weingut Rings, Pfalz
Vinum: Andy und Steffen Rings sind als Brüderpaar ein eingespieltes Team. Als sie vor nicht einmal zwei Jahrzehnten ihr Weingut starteten, dachten sie nicht im Traum daran, einmal auf dem Olymp zu stehen und neben der Auszeichnung als «Aufsteiger des Jahres» auch noch den fünften Stern tragen zu
dürfen, der sie als zur absoluten nationalen Spitze zugehörig ausweist.
