Second Stop: Bolgheri (Tuscany)

This was an organized group tour, led by wine journalist Giuseppe Lauria. We spent 4 nights in Bolgheri.

Day 2 in Bolgheri

Following a visit of Tenuta Argentiera and lunch at Osteria Magona (which has a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide), where we run into Marco Balsimelli, Production Director, Ornellaia and Masseto, and a visit of Le Machiole, including a vineyard tour, a cellar tour and a tasting

we went for dinner to Locanda dell' Aioncino. The dinner was preceded by a visit of Vigna Lodovico and a tasting of Lodovico Antinori's cult wines Lodovico and Il Nicchio with his Assistant at Locanda dell' Aioncino.
