Following Loire 2025 by ombiasy WineTours led by Annette Schiller (which ended in Sancerre), the bus took the group the next morning to Paris, where we had the iconic Brasserie La Coupole our final joint meal.
From there, Annette and I took a cab to the 8th District, where we stayed with our friend Astrid, before taking the ICE train to Frankfurt the following day.

A touch of nostalgia: From 2003 to 2006, I was on oversee assignment at the IMF Office in Paris, while Annette's center of live was in Leipzig, Germany, running her ombiasy Leipzig event management company. My appartment in Paris was the Rue de Madrid in the 8th District.
