Weingut Werk2 – A Gem in Geisenheim, Rheingau

Weingut Werk2 is nestled in the picturesque village of Geisenheim, located in the renowned Rheingau region of Germany. Surrounded by stunning river landscapes and lush countryside, this winery is dedicated to producing remarkable wines and craft beer through artisanal methods. Signature offerings like Smalltalk and Liquid Sun showcase the unique characteristics of the region's fertile soils.

Founded around 20 years ago, Weingut Werk2 has become a beloved name in the Rheingau wine scene.

Blending Tradition with Innovation

Hans-Joachim Klose, the owner of Weingut Werk2, transitioned from a career as an IT architect to pursue his passion for viticulture. Building on a family legacy of high-quality grape production, he has revitalized old vineyards with new vines. The winery combines traditional and modern winemaking techniques, resulting in exceptional wines and beers that reflect the region's heritage.

Riesling and Pinot Noir: The Stars of the Vineyard

The Rheingau's terroir is ideal for cultivating crisp Riesling and elegant Pinot Noir. Grapes are meticulously hand-selected from various plots and undergo controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Weingut Werk2 offers a diverse selection of wines, including red, white, sparkling, and dessert wines, alongside their craft beer.

For those visiting Geisenheim, Weingut Werk2 provides comfortable accommodations in the form of apartments named Ruby and Smalltalk. These cozy spaces overlook the beautiful vineyards and are equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a memorable stay in the heart of the Rheingau.
