Fourth Stop: Montalcino and Montepulciano (Tuscany)
From Chianti Classico we drove to Montalcino and stayed 2 nights at La Ragnaie, a well-known Montalcino winery which also has 12 rooms.
One day we focused on Brunello di Montalcino producers and one day on Vino Nobile de Montepulciano producers.
On both nights we had dinner in the village of Montalcino.

La Sosta is owned by Fabio Tassi. The Tassi family own and operate Tassi Montalcino, a winery, and Drogheria & Locanda Franci, which is located around the corner, combining the charm of a traditional grocer's shop (Drogheria) with the comfort and elegance of a modern hotel (Locanda) and a cozy restaurant. Originally, the Drogheria sold provisions like honey, spices, pasta, and other local products to the town. It has since transformed into a wine shop featuring a wide selection of local wines (Enotheca).
