"Wine from our Cellar" Wine-pairing Dinner: Austria - Polz Welschriesling, Wiener Schnitzel, Wachter-Wiesler Blaufränkisch, Sacher Torte, Virginia, 2023

In Virginia, Annette and I belong to the "Wine from our Cellar" group of wine and food lovers that meet regularly, perhaps 4 to 6 times per year, at the home of one of the members for a small-bite wine-pairing dinner. Each guest brings one bottle of wine from his or her cellar with a small-bite dish.

This time, there were 21 of us, i.e. 21 wines and 21 small bites.

Annette brought a Austrian Blaufränkisch with a small piece of Sacher Torte.

 

I brought a Austria Welschriesling with a small piece of Wiener Schnitzel.
