Outstanding Bordeaux Winemaker Dinner at Petit Louis Bistro in Baltimore with GM Nicolas Glumineau and his #wordclass Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande Second Growth 1855 wines. 

 

The food and the ambiance at Petit Louis Bistro were very good and very French. Definitely, we would be regulars if it was closer to our home. 

 

The 3 "grands vins" Nicolas poured (2018, 2016, 2005) were "out of this world" with the 2005 showing an incredible harmony and elegance. These three vintages were available at the dinner for $327, $409 and $491 per bottle, not a price range for the ordinary wine lover such as the couple that was sitting next to us. 

 

Among other things, we talked with Nicolas about the legendary Comtesse tasting 10 years ago in Washington DC organized by Panos Kakaviatos and the amazing group lunch with him at the estate during Bordeaux 2022 by Ombiasy Public Relations and Wine Tours led by Annette Schiller
